There are plenty of things to see and places to eat near the venue/hotels.
THE DAY OF THE WEDDING
There are plenty of places within walking distance of the hotels and venue to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink.
Start your morning grabbing coffee and a pastry at La Colombe in Blagden Alley. Or if you are in the mood for a sit down brunch, try some breakfast tacos at Espita Mezcaleria.
For lunch, grab a sandwich at Smoked & Stacked or Sundevich.
Lost and Found is a pretty great bar if you are looking to extend the celebration before or after the wedding.
THE (TOURISTY) Must-sees
If you haven't been to DC, most of the must-sees are in walking distance with each other. Aside from the Capitol and monuments, the mall is lined with (free) Smithsonian museums. Our favorite is the Hirshhorn, a contemporary art museum.
Side note, the memorials are open 24/7, and the Jefferson Memorial is particularly picturesque at night.
